Mrs. Sachs is the former Shelley Fields, daughter of Alfred and Bernadine Shiplett of Robbinsville, N.C., and the late Floyd M. Fields. She is owner of Ms. Shelley's Learning Center. Sachs is a fuel technician at Lone Star Industries. He is the son of Alfred and Thelma Sachs of Frohna.
