She is employed in the business advising office at Southeast Missouri State University. Rush is employed by Americorps Mentor Tracker at the university. He is the son of Ira and Sylvia Rush of Jackson.

Mrs. Roth is the former Gail Gerschefske, daughter of Arnold and Lois Gerschefske of Linn. She is a teacher at Jackson R-2 Schools. Roth is local sales manager at KFVS-TV, and is the son of Walton and Dorothy Roth of Scott City.
