Mrs. Frakes is the former Susan Hayes, daughter of Jerry and Carolyn Hayes of Marston. She is a teacher at New Madrid County R-1 School District. Frakes is the son of Jim and Connie Frakes of Portageville and Judy Frakes of Nashville, Tenn. He is an administrator and baseball coach at Dyersburg State Community College in Dyersburg, Tenn.

Burke

Daughter to Benjamin Eugene and Barbara Lynn Burke of Poplar Bluff, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 1997. Name, Alexandra Michele. Weight, 8 pounds 7 ounces. Third child, second daughter. Mrs. Burke is the former Barbara Black, daughter of Irma Black of Norris City, Ill., and the late William Black. She is employed at Bootheel Counseling Services in Sikeston. Burke is the son of David Burke of Harrisburg, Ill. He is employed at Hacking Insurance Agency.

Kennett

Son to Jeffrey Terrance and Melissa Sue Lynn Kennett, 3003 Themis, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:34 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 1997. Name, Joshua David Kyle. Weight, 6 pounds 6 ounces. Third son. Mrs. Kennett is the former Melissa Gunter, daughter of David and Bonnie Dennis of Cape Girardeau. Kennett is the son of Terry and Elise Kennett of St. Louis. He is serving in the U.S. Navy.
