Lorch is the son of Leonard and Claudine Lorch of Advance. He is owner of Lorch Oil Co.

Mrs. Brune is the former Jennifer Foeste, daughter of Kenny and Judy Foeste of Cape Girardeau. She is a wellness coordinator at Southeast Missouri State University.
