Mrs. Poindexter is the former Angela James, daughter of Robert and Marie James of Cape Girardeau. Poindexter is the son of Wayne Poindexter of St. Charles, and the late Joan Poindexter. Mr. and Mrs. Poindexter are physical education teachers at Jefferson Middle School in St. Charles.

Gattis

Son to Lee L. and Debbie L. Gattis of Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 12:34 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 1999. Name, Robert Lee. Weight, 8 pounds 7 ounces. First child. Mrs. Gattis is the former Debbie Poole, daughter of Harold and Pat Poole of Sikeston. She is a teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Cape Girardeau. Gattis is the son of Leland and Shirley Gattis of Senath. He is assistant principal at Central Junior High School in Cape Girardeau.

Chapman

Daughter to Keith Edward and Diane Marie Chapman of Chaffee, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 7:04 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 1999. Name, Madison Marie. Weight, 6 pounds 2 ounces. Second daughter. Mrs. Chapman is the former Diane Bueter, daughter of Kenneth and Ernestine Bueter of Advance. She is a receptionist in the insurance department for Dr. Jeffery McNabb. Chapman is the son of Kenneth Chapman of Gordonville and Lois Chapman of Chaffee. He is a pre-salesman with Bluff City Beer Co.
