Weight, 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Fourth child, second son. Ms. Powers is the former Melanie Wood, daughter of Martha Howell and Terry Howell of Jackson. She is a freelance designer at Southeast Missouri State University. Marshall is the son of Richard and Carol Marshall of Jackson. He is a machinist at Auto Tire and Parts.

Zahner

Daughter to David Clarence and Starr Crystal Zahner of Cape Girardeau, Saint Francis Medical Center, 8:47 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2006. Name, Haylie Kay. Weight, 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Zahner is the former Starr Petty, daughter of Ken and Sharon Petty of Louisville, Ky. Zahner is the son of Bernice Zahner of Perryville, Mo., and the late Eugene Zahner. He is employed by Gary Arnold Construction.

Mrs. Schoen is the former Christie Morgan, daughter of Gordon and Fawn Morgan of Cape Girardeau. She is employed at Regional Primary Care. Schoen is the son of Dr. William and Sue Dillon of Sikeston, Mo. He is employed at Best Buy.

Mrs. Powers is the former Sara Ochs, daughter of Herb and Wilma Ochs of Uniontown, Mo. Powers is the son of Chet Powers of Advance, Mo., and the late Imogene Powers. He is an operator at BioKyowa.
