Second child, first son. Ms. Thompson is the daughter of Steve and Sharon Thompson of Newton, Ill. She is a microbiologist at FMC Chemical Co. in Buffalo, N.Y. Kutscher is the son of Walter and Carol Kutscher of Jackson. He is employed by Olive Garden in Buffalo.
