Ms. Patrick is the daughter of James Patrick of Morley and Barbara and Tony Miller of Oswego, Ill. Taylor is the son of Vickie and Gerry Hodge of Ashland, Mo., and the late Keith Taylor of Morley.

Son to Roger Q. and Erin Rose Brown IV of Scott City, Saint Francis Medical Center, 1:24 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. Name, Brayden Roger. Weight, 8 pounds, 13 ounces. First child. Mrs. Brown is the former Erin O'Loughlin, daughter of Tim and Mary O'Loughlin of Jackson. She is a registered nurse at Saint Francis. Brown is the son of Roger Q. Brown III and Beth Brown of Commerce, Mo. He is service manager with Osborne Office Equipment.

Mrs. Kelpe is the former Kimberly Aslinger, daughter of Howard and Jean Aslinger of Cape Girardeau. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. Kelpe is the son of Gerald and Bonnie Kelpe of Cape Girardeau. He is employed by Cape Girardeau School District.

Emmons

Daughter to Andru Wayne and Venus March Emmons of Oran, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 1:57 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009. Name, Gabrielle Rylee. Weight, 8 pounds. Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Emmons is the former Venus Glastetter, daughter of Gary and Carma Glastetter of Oran. She is employed in customer service at Hutson's Furniture. Emmons is the son of Doug and Teddi Brace of Cape Girardeau. He is a welder with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
