Daughter to Michael Troy and Laura Beth Eck of Paducah, Ky., Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, 10:02 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005. Name, Ansley Elizabeth. Weight, 7 pounds. Fourth child, third daughter. Mrs. Eck is the former Laura Young, daughter of Tim and Carolyn Young of Cape Girardeau. Eck is the son of Wally and Sharon Eck of Benton, Ky., and Gene and Sherry Crippen of Jonesboro, Ill. He is a professional engineer and owner of Matrix Engineering in Paducah.

Austin

Son to Sam and Caroline Austin of Cape Girardeau, Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005. Name, Alex Samuel. Weight, 8 pounds 10 ounces. First child. Mrs. Austin is the daughter of Dale and Betty Gibson of Oak Ridge, Tenn. She is an attorney in Cape Girardeau. Austin is the son of Bruce and Myrtle Austin of Charleston, Mo. He is a farmer in Charleston.

Ritter

Son to James Douglas and Sara Elizabeth Ritter of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 9:33 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005. Name, Connor Joseph. Weight, 8 pounds 6 ounces. Second son. Mrs. Ritter is the former Sara Nenninger, daughter of Lonnie and Audrey Nenninger of Leopold, Mo. She is an administrative assistant at Cape Girardeau Police Department. Ritter is the son of Marilyn Ritter of Cape Girardeau. He is a patrolman with Cape Girardeau Police Department, bus driver with First Student, an EMT with Cape County Private Ambulance Service Inc., and an Emergency Room technician at Southeast Hospital.
