Adopted daughter to William T. and Angela Marie Peters of St. Louis, born at Marietta Memorial Hospital, 1:48 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006. Name, Olivia Grace. Weight, 7 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces. First child. Mrs. Peters is the former Angela Basler, daughter of Robert and Betty Basler of Cape Girardeau. She is an oversight specialist with the Children's Division of Missouri Department of Social Services. Peters is the son of William and Martha Peters and Hedy Melliere, all of St. Louis. He is employed by Schnucks Supermarkets in St. Louis.

Ponder

Daughter to Daniel James and Jessica Leigh Ponder of Altenburg, Mo., Perry County Memorial Hospital, 5:49 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006. Name, Halle Elizabeth. Weight, 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Ponder is the former Jessica McMillan, daughter of Marvin and Sharon McMillan of Friedheim. She is employed at International Log and Timber. Ponder is the son of Norbert and Toni Ponder of Perryville, Mo. He is employed at East Perry Lumber Co.

Merrick

Daughter to Mark Anthony and Tina Rena Merrick of Sikeston, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006. Name, Morgan West. Weight, 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Second daughter. Mrs. Merrick is the former Tina Brown, daughter of Robert and Brenda Brown of Sikeston. She is manager at Wendy's. Merrick is the son of Don and Carolyn Merrick of Sikeston. He is employed with Southeast Snacks.

Horton

Twin sons to Melvin Tyrone and Heather M. Horton of Chaffee, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006. Zyrin was born at 7:35 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces. Kyrin was born at 7:37 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces. The couple also has two other sons and a daughter. Mrs. Horton is the former Heather Anglin, daughter of Bruce and Star Anglin of Chaffee. She is a student. Horton is the son of Ernestine and Junior Bonner of Sikeston, Mo. He is employed at Sam's Club.

Ms. Tuck is the daughter of Patricia Tuck of Cape Girardeau and Thomas Tuck of Bradford, Tenn. Smith is the son of Duane Smith and Jennifer Hileman of Jonesboro, Ill. Mrs. Thompson is the former Amy Cook, daughter of Connie Warner of Wood River, Ill., and Denny Cook of Carrollton, Ill. She is a pharmacist at Medicap Pharmacy in Scott City. Thompson is the son of Linda Thompson of Jackson, and the late Glen Thompson. He is a pharmacist at Southeast Hospital.

Mrs. Brown is the former Molly Bishop, daughter of Joe and Nancy Bishop of Jackson. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Hospital. Brown is the son of Joe and Belinda Brown of Marble Hill, Mo. He is a computer operator at Do It Best Corp.
