Mrs. Degen is the former Lisa Davis, daughter of Robert and Judy Davis of Sikeston. Degen is the son of Karen Degen of Chillicothe, Ohio, and the late Donald Degen. He is employed at Nordyne in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Gosche

Daughter to Douglas Robert Gosche and Lisa Marie Scherer of Oran, Mo., St. Francis Medical Center, 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001. Name, Heather Renee. Weight, 8 pounds 1 ounce. Sixth child, fourth daughter. Ms. Scherer is the daughter of Charles and Rose Ann Scherer of Benton, Mo. She is a housekeeper at Universal Health and Fitness Center. Gosche is the son of the late Harold and Leona Gosche. He is a self-employed farmer.

Ms. Akins is the former Stavena Foster, daughter of Sandie and James Mahon of DeSoto, Mo., and Eunice and Vernon Edmond of Fredericktown, Mo. She is employed at Southeast Missouri State University.

Fourth child, second daughter. Mrs. Law is the former Laura Howell, daughter of Leonard and Lyla Howell of Elkins, W.Va. Law is the son of Phyllis Law of Follansbee, W.Va., and the late David H. Law.

Dameron

Mrs. Dameron is the former Tara Blechle, daughter of Keith and Bonnie Blechle of Jackson. She is a speech pathologist at Marquand-Zion R-VI Schools. Dameron is the son of Tom and Cheryl Dameron of Jackson. He is a carpenter with Wesbecher Construction Inc.

Mrs. Gragg is the former Mendi Ferguson, daughter of Kim and Donal Ferguson of Cape Girardeau. She is a teacher at Jackson R-2 Schools. Gragg is the son of David and Tammy Gragg of Cape Girardeau. He is a program coordinator at St. Francis Medical Center.
