Mrs. Nesslein is the former Lori Eakin, daughter of Jim Eakin of Cape Girardeau, and the late Brenda Eakin. She is a neonatologist at Cook Children's Hospital. Nesslein is the son of Doug and Jodi Nesslein of Cape Girardeau. He is an architect.
