Second child, first son. Mrs. Retherford is the former Mandy Webb, daughter of Mike Webb and Jennifer Faries of Cape Girardeau. Retherford is the son of Charles and Gladys Retherford of Cape Girardeau. He is employed at Denny's.

Atkins

Son to Sidney Don and Lana Jean Atkins of Chaffee, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 11:42 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2006. Name, Kade Westbrook. Weight, 9 pounds, 7 ounces. Second son. Mrs. Atkins is the former Lana Cook, daughter of Larry and Janet Cook of Whitewater. She is a speech/language pathologist with Scott County Central School District. Atkins is the son of Jack and Bernice Atkins of Chaffee and Sid and Angie Whittington of Kelso, Mo. He is a teacher with Chaffee School District.

Mrs. Hardeman is the former Julie Charbonneau, daughter of Tom and Pat Charbonneau of Mission, Kan. Hardeman is the son of Jane Hardeman of Patton, Mo., and the late Rev. Howard Hardeman.

Crawford is the son of Rick and Nancy Russel of Anna, Ill., and Nova and Peggy Crawford of Jackson. He is a band teacher with the school district.
