Rhodes is the son of W.L. and Carol Rhodes of Marble Hill, Mo.

Son to James W. Proffer and Onitra D. Wilkerson of Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003. Name, Thomas Ulysses Edwin. Weight, 5 pounds 14 1/2 ounces. Fourth child, third son. Ms. Wilkerson is the daughter of Mac and Darlene Wilkerson of Allenville. Proffer is the son of Bruce and Patricia Proffer of Sedgewickville, Mo.
