Ms. Koerber is the daughter of Paul and Bernice Koerber of Gordonville. She is owner of an in-home daycare and is an educational consultant with Discovery Toys Inc.

Daughter to James Thomas and Susan Carol Frakes of Portageville, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 10:04 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001. Name, Maggie Caroline. Weight, 7 pounds 2 ounces. Second daughter. Mrs. Frakes is the former Susan Hayes, daughter of Jerry and Carolyn Hayes of Marston, Mo. Frakes is the son of Judy Frakes of Kennett, Mo., and Jim and Connie Frakes of Portageville. He is director of the Small Business Development Center at Dyersburg State Community College.

Newman

Son to Bryan "Clint" and Andrea Lynn Newman of Marquand, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, 3:17 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001. Name, Cale Lewis. Weight, 6 pounds 5 1/2 ounces. Mrs. Newman is the former Andrea Gilmore, daughter of Roger and Janey Gilmore of Hawesville, Ky. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Hospital. Newman is the son of Steve and Debbie Newman of Greenville, Ky. He is a vocational agriculture teacher at Meadow Heights High School.
