Daughter to Steven James and Kristy Ann Branson of Thompsons Station, Tenn., Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., 4:38 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2009. Name, Sydney Rayne. Weight, 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Second daughter. Mrs. Branson is the former Kristy Jansen, daughter of Mike and Marilyn Jansen of Cape Girardeau. She is a registered nurse in the emergency department at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn. Branson is the son of Russell Branson of Washington, Mo., and the late Betty Branson. He is clinic coordinator of the Speech and Hearing Clinic at Tennessee State University in Nashville.
