Bender - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bender of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 15, 2010, with a Caribbean cruise.

They were accompanied by their daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and John Van Wagner and Kimberly and Ronald Foltz.

Prior to the cruise, Mr. and Mrs. Foltz of Tallahassee, Fla., hosted a dinner for the Benders and their grandchildren. The grandchildren are Ashley Van Wagner of Orlando, Fla., Chris and Jessica Foltz of Atlanta and Cameron and Jennifer Foltz of Tallahassee.

Bender and Martha Stovall were married May 15, 1950, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, by the Rev. Ted Jaeger. Their attendants were Louise Kinder Lewis, cousin of the bride, and Edward Bender, brother of the groom.
