Bakers are married 40 years

Mr. and Mrs. Med Baker of Gordonville celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception Jan. 5, 2007, at Hobbs Chapel Activity Building in Cape Girardeau. Hosts were their children.

Baker and Karen Washburn were married Jan. 6, 1967, in Peoria, Ill., by the Rev. Mel Fiscus. Their attendants were Mike Baker and Brenda Lucy.

Their children and spouses are Keith and Krista Baker of Cape Girardeau, Jodie and David Brown of Gordonville, and Jill and James Rawson of Colorado Springs, Colo.

They have seven grandchildren, Maddie, Brayden and Savannah Baker; Shailey Boaz and Bobby (Mandy) Brown; and Darin and McKenna Rawson; and two great-grandsons, Dalton and Dillon Brown.
