Mrs. Smith is the former JeanAnn Jennings, daughter of Sandy Lyke of Port Royal, S.C., and Jimmie Leo Miller of Cape Girardeau. Smith is stationed with the U.S. Marines at Camp Pendleton, Calif., and is the son of Virginia L. Smith of Hayti and the late Gustie M. Smith.

Daughter to Tim Mitchell and Brenda Borgfield of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 8:25 a.m. Monday, April 15, 1991. Name, Brooke Nichole. Weight, 8 pounds 2 ounces. Third child, second daughter. Ms. Borgfield is the former Brenda Meyer, daughter of Norma Meyer of Cape Girardeau, and is manager of Hamburger Express. Mitchell is an installer with A-1 Mechanical Service, and is the son of Clara Mitchell of Perryville.

Son to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leming, 3910 Carolewood, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 9:26 a.m. Monday, April 15, 1991. Name, Clayton Charles. Weight, 9 pounds 15 ounces. Second son. Mrs. Leming is the former Dana Annis, daughter of Herbert and Thelma Annis of Cape Girardeau. She is a respiratory therapist at Southeast Hospital. Leming is superintendent of M.E. Leming Lumber Co., and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leming and Joyce Leming of Cape Girardeau.
