ANNIVERSARY: WISEMANS OBSERVE 70TH

Bardis and Evelyn Wiseman of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Oct. 7, 2000, with a reception at West End Boulevard Church of Christ. Hosts were their children.

Approximately 115 guests attended from Missouri, Tennessee, Illinois and Ohio.

Wiseman and Mary Evelyn Medling were married Oct. 7, 1930, in New Madrid, Mo. Their attendants were Flora Medling and Paul Medling.

Their children are: Mabel Smith of Scott City, Mo., Don Wiseman and Kay Gilliland of Cape Girardeau, Larry Wiseman of Granville, Ohio, and the late Bobby and Linda. They have 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-stepgrandchildren.
