ANNIVERSARY: SCHATTAUERS MARK GOLDEN EVENT

JACKSON -- Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schattauer of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 8, 2000, at Delmonico's.

Friends and relatives attended from the area.

Schattauer and Erna Meyr were married April 14, 1950, at Zion Lutheran parsonage in Pocahontas by the late Rev. Robert Jank.

Their attendants were Lillie Schattauer Schilling, sister of the groom, and the late Milton Meyr, brother of the bride.

Schattauer is a retired postmaster, grocer and livestock dealer from Pocahontas. His wife assisted in the retail business.

The couple has a son, Keith Schattauer of Jackson; and a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and John Mercille of Fenton. They have two granddaughters, Christine and Cara Mercille.
