ANNIVERSARY: KINGS OBSERVE GOLDEN EVENT

Mr. and Mrs. Junior King of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Hawaii.

King and Doretta Clements were married May 20, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.

He was employed at Lone Star Industries 35 years. He served with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II.

Mrs. King was employed at Sears 25 years.

They have four children, Debby Schaefer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Terry King and Jean Ann King of Nashville, Tenn., and Blane King of Jackson. The couple has four grandchildren.
