ANNIVERSARY: GOODWINS MARK 50 YEARS

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodwin of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th anniversary Aug. 8, 2000.

Goodwin and Carol A. Dunn were married Aug. 8, 1950, at a Baptist church in Doniphan, Mo.

Goodwin was a coach at Lilbourn, Chaffee, Cape Central, and was coordinator of physical education and athletics at Jackson. Mrs. Goodwin was an elementary teacher. They taught a combined total of 64 years.

The couple has two children, Rob of New Madrid, Mo., and Teresa of McClure, Ill. They have four granddaughters, Danielle and Samantha Goodwin of New Madrid, Katie and Kelsey Prater of McClure.
