JACKSON -- Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Reiminger of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house April 16, 2000, at Mac's Smokehouse Airport Restaurant in Cape Girardeau.

Approximately 100 guests attended the event.

Reiminger and Jo Ann Biler were married April 26, 1950, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. Their attendants were Peggy Denton and Theo Reiminger, brother of the groom.

Reiminger founded Overhead Door Co. of SEMO Inc. in August 1957. He retired in January 1984.

Their children and spouses are: Mary Sue and G.A. Schaefer of Crystal City; Luella and Eric Thompson of Cape Girardeau; Mr. and Mrs. David Reiminger, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reiminger, Joanie and John Hendricks, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reiminger, all of Jackson.

The couple also has 19 grandchildren.
