Allison -- 25 years

Greg and Rita Allison celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on June 25 with a dinner and dance with family and friends at the 4-H Building at Arena Park in Cape Girardeau. The couple's granddaughters, Desarae and McKenzie, greeted guests at the door.

Allison and the former Rita Dacus McCormic were married June 30, 1991, at First Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wes Rider performing the ceremony.

They have two children, Melissa Johnston and Rebecca Kennedy, and nine grandchildren.

Parents of the couple are Catherine Allison and the late Paul Allison and Nan Clark and the late Ivo Dacus, all of Cape Girardeau.
