CAIRO, Ill. -- Zelma L. Ozment, 94, of Ullin, Ill., died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at the Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
She was born July 5, 1910, in Pulaski County, Ill., daughter of Sylvester Lance and Mary Alice Williams Lance. She and Roy Ozment were married July 8, 1926.
Ozment lived her entire life in Villa Ridge, Ill., and Mounds, Ill. She retired from R.I. Lowenbaum Manufacturing Co. in Mounds, Ill.
Survivors include a son, Dale Ozment of Chebanse, Ill.; a daughter, Ruth Osborne of Blue Springs, Mo.; a brother, Alvin Lance of Pulaski, Ill., a sister, Jewell Graves of Cairo; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three children and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
