CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Zelma L. Bueltemann of Madison, Miss., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Willard Murrie will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Bueltemann, 84 years old, died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Miss.
She was born Nov. 26, 1906, at Jonesboro, Ark., daughter of Redic and Emma Asbell Oliver. She married Raymond Bueltemann Jan. 19, 1929, at Kenneth. He died March 5, 1963.
While living in Cape, she was a member of Grace Methodist Church, Campfire Girls, and was a Girl Scout leader. She was a house mother 10 years at the State of Arkansas Rehabilitation Center, and worked at the Community Service for Senior Citizens in Jackson, Miss. She was a member of an Assembly of God Church, and had been a volunteer with the church's boarding home.
Survivors include a son, Jack Bueltemann of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter, Carol Yates of Madison; a brother, Rex Oliver of Jonesboro, Ark.; a sister, Thelma Porterfield of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
