ANNA, Ill. -- Zella Cochran, 90, of Anna died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at City Care Center.
She was born Feb. 16, 1910, in Carterville, Ill., daughter of James Thomas and Effie Mae Caraker Watson. She and Ralph "Doc" Cochran were married June 9, 1929. He died May 28, 1985.
Cochran retired from the former International Shoe Co., and from the dietary department at Union County Hospital. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 10 a.m. Monday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Darnell will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
