Wyatt Joel Glastetter, 3, of Jackson found Heaven on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, after a long, courageous battle with neuroblastoma, pediatric sympathetic nervous system cancer.
He was born April 12, 2011, in Cape Girardeau, to Ray and Stacy Slinkard Glastetter.
Wyatt loved animals, loved to swing and watch cartoons. He enjoyed playing on his blue iPad and wouldn't go anywhere without his blue blankie. Wyatt had an infectious smile and spirit. He touched many lives and, as his name states, he was a "little warrior of God."
Survivors include his parents, Ray and Stacy Glastetter of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Cecilia Glastetter of New Hamburg, Missouri; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Serrelda Slinkard; and an uncle, Joel Slinkard.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, 333 E. Lancaster Ave., No. 414, Wynnewood, PA 19096.
