Woodrow Wilson

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Woodrow "Woody" Wilson, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 31, 1928, at Kaiser, Ark., son of Raymond and Ethel Mae Powers Wilson. He and Loretta Rhodes were married Sept. 2, 1951, at Blytheville, Ark.

Wilson was the former owner of Woody and Sons Pest Control and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dan C. Wilson, Wendell R. Wilson, both of Sikeston, Woodrow "Woody" Wilson Jr. of Highlandville; three daughters, Rhonda Jany of Winamac, Ind., Carma Still, Lora Turner, both of Sikeston; a brother, Raymond Wilson of Hardy, Ark., two sisters, Betty R. Baker of Cherokee Village, Ark., Sandra Hardesty of League City, Texas; 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston and from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. John Bouldrey will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
