CHAFFEE, Mo. Woodrow W. Lewis, 77, of Chaffee, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born at Brownwood, Mo. Aug. 5, 1914, son of Lou Lewis and Lilly Steven Lewis.
He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee.
He worked in maintenance for the Cape Girardeau Park Department, retiring in 1979. He moved to Chaffee in 1970, from Cape Girardeau.
On March 12, 1969, he married Dorothy Bolen. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Robin Lewis of Fenton, Mo., Jordan Lewis of St. Louis, and Richard Lewis of Kirkwood; a daughter, Judith Warren of Madison, Ill.; two step daughters, Pat Hale of Cape Girardeau and Sharon Mister Spink of Arnold; brothers, John Lewis of St. Louis, L. E. Lewis of Fulton, Mo., and James Lewis, of the state of California; sisters, Mildred Jones of St. Louis and Mary Ruth Hall of Pocatello, Idaho; nine grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 2 p.m. Monday.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Larry Burdine officiating. Burial will in Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
