CHARLESTON -- Woodrow Wilson Kidd, 82, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born Oct. 19, 1912, near Dudley, son of John Henry and Elzada E. Dodd Kidd. He and Elsie Williams were married Nov. 26, 1932. She died Feb. 23, 1956. He and Mary Frances Bush were married in 1969. She died in 1971...

CHARLESTON -- Woodrow Wilson Kidd, 82, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Oct. 19, 1912, near Dudley, son of John Henry and Elzada E. Dodd Kidd. He and Elsie Williams were married Nov. 26, 1932. She died Feb. 23, 1956. He and Mary Frances Bush were married in 1969. She died in 1971.

Kidd retired in 1975 as supervisor of bus maintenance with Charleston R-1 School District. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Mack "Buddy" Kidd of Cleveland, Ga.; four daughters, Kathryn Baugh of Mitchell, Ill., Mable Sims of Charleston, Ruth Hobbs of Lawton, Okla., Connie Noel of Edwardsville, Ill.; two brothers, David Kidd of Lonedell, Dale Kidd of Ennis, Texas; two sisters, Vada Zweng of Dearborn, Mich., Violet Bowden of Trenton, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Summers officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
