BLOOMFIELD -- Winnie Troxell, 91, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Jan. 6, 1992, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 13, 1900, at Bloomfield, daughter of Robert and Georgia Langston Skelton. She had been married to Curtis Gaines, Otis Weaver and F.C. Troxell, all of whom preceded her in death.
Troxell was a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield community, and member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Harold Gaines, Don Weaver and Dale Weaver of Dexter, James Weaver of Amarillo, Texas; five daughters, Helen Bowling, Louise Smith and Melba Barnett of Bloomfield, Dorothy Evans of Houston, Texas, Georgia Hughes of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Ethel Newton of Viola, Ark.; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate, with burial in Hills Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
