Winford R. Keesee, 76, of Fanning Springs, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009.
He was born Sept. 13, 1932, at Fornfelt, son of Clyde and Essie Mullinax Keesee.
Keesee served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; a son, Rick Keesee; five daughters, Cathy Tramel, Celinda Smith, Debbie Howe, Tina Tarallo and Rebecca Phillips; five sisters, Virginia Knight of Phoenix, Ruth Landreth of Symsonia, Ky., Miriam Roth of Cape Girardeau, Dolores Eifert of Jackson, Norma Corbin of Cahokia, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. today at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, with full military honors.
