SIKESTON -- Windle Fikuart, 80, of Sikeston died Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, at his home. He was born Sept. 23, 1914, at Sedgewickville, son of Charlie and Nora Crites Fikuart. He married Mary Marie Vaughan Sept. 9, 1942, at Charleston. She survives. He attended Calvary Temple Church in Sikeston and was a retired truck driver...

SIKESTON -- Windle Fikuart, 80, of Sikeston died Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, at his home.

He was born Sept. 23, 1914, at Sedgewickville, son of Charlie and Nora Crites Fikuart.

He married Mary Marie Vaughan Sept. 9, 1942, at Charleston. She survives.

He attended Calvary Temple Church in Sikeston and was a retired truck driver.

Other survivors include a son, Stan Fikuart of Hagerville, Ark.; two daughters, Lydia McGovern of St. Louis and Linda Culbertson of Sikeston; a brother, Carl Deasom of Oregon; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunley Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Larry Davis will officiate, and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
