MORLEY, Mo. -- Wilson Davis Sikes, 86, of Morley, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

He was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Livingston County, Kentucky, to Woodrow Wilson and Ruby Marie Wadley Sikes. He married Coy O. Phillips on Nov. 14, 2004.

He was a 1951 graduate of Reidland High School, a master electrician and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He raised his three sons in Paducah, and worked for General Tire in Mayfield, Kentucky. He was active in the Shrine Club in Paducah, Local 665 United Rubber Workers Union in Mayfield, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. After moving to Missouri, he was a founding member of The Church at Morley.

He is survived by his wife, Coy Sikes of Morley; sons, Doug (Kelly) Sikes of Morley, Dave (Paula) Sikes of Paducah and Duane (Zelma) Sikes of Brussels, Illinois; a sister, Dorothy Turner of Paducah; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother and three sisters.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Bon Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with full military honors.
