PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilma A. Wills, 78, of Perryville died Thursday, May 11, 2006, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 19, 1927, in Perry County, daughter of Louis A. and Christina Schwein Geringer. She and LeRoy E. Wills were married May 17, 1952. He died Dec. 31, 1987.
Wills worked at International Shoe Co. from 1944 to 1952, and assisted her husband in their farm operation many years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland, Mo., American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Hacker of Perryville; a brother, Sylvester Geringer of Perryville; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. A Catholic wake will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by a VFW Auxiliary wake at 7:15 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church in Highland, with the Rev. Robert Brockland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
