Funeral service for Wilma V. Boren of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Louis Launhardt will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. to service time.
Boren, 71, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1995, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Dec. 10, 1923, at Frohna, daughter of Bernhard C. and Hilda M. Kain Petzoldt. She and Roland R. Boren were married Aug. 10, 1947, at Frohna. He died Oct. 24, 1977.
Boren was a cook at the Lutheran Home more than 10 years. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Stahlman of Jackson, Bonnie Tippee of Ballwin; a brother, Floyd Petzoldt of Cape Girardeau, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
