Wilma McCrary

McCLURE, Ill. -- Wilma McCrary, 76, of McClure died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at her home.

She was born July 2, 1934, in Paragould, Ark., to Bill and Pauline Scheaer Branch. She and Joel McCrary Sr. were married Feb. 26, 1951, in Leachville, Ark. He preceded her in death Nov. 29, 2004.

Wilma was employed at Southeast Hospital in food services. She was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include two sons, Joel McCrary Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Michael McCrary (Stacy) of Butler, Mo.; three daughters, Jeanie Dittmer (Dave) of Jackson, Donna Tidwell of Cape Girardeau, Michelle Rogers of McClure; two brothers, Larry Branch of Bakersfield, Calif., Donnie Branch of Mexico; three sisters, Debra Ward of Strong, Ark., Sandy Berg of Little Rock, Ark., Charlotte DeLong of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, parents, a daughter, a granddaughter and two sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chris Clifton officiating.
