MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Wilma A. Dailey, 69, of Marble Hill died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Bollinger County, daughter of Johnny and Myrtle Fulbright Cook. She and James L. "Vern" Dailey were married Dec. 25, 1954...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Wilma A. Dailey, 69, of Marble Hill died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Bollinger County, daughter of Johnny and Myrtle Fulbright Cook. She and James L. "Vern" Dailey were married Dec. 25, 1954.

Dailey retired as postmaster of Oak Ridge Post Office. She was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church and its Women's Missionary Union, Tri-County Postmasters, Perry County Postmasters Association, and National Association of Postmasters United Society.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Roger Dailey of Sedgewickville, Mo., Randy Dailey of Marquand, Mo.; a brother, Cloyd Cook of Sedgewickville; two sisters, Eula Hoehn of Doe Run, Mo., Louise Kowniak of Farmington, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 3 to 8 p.m. today, and Sunday after 1 p.m. at Little Whitewater Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Revs. James Collins and Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.
