MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Willis Dean Toombs, 57, of Marble Hill died Sunday, June 8, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 21, 1945, at Qulin, Mo., son of James and Eva King Toombs.
Toombs was a minister. He was a member of Grassy Friendship Church at Grassy, Mo., and attended Community Church at Marble Hill.
Survivors include two nephews, Terry and Roger Toombs of Marble Hill; two nieces, Cindy Hanners of Marble Hill, and Joyce Highfill of Muscatine, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Grassy Cemetery, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating.
Hutchings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
