JONESBORO, Ill. -- Willis H. Reynolds, 79, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Union County Hospital. He was born March 2, 1926, in Jonesboro, son of Edward Harrison and Rosa Mae Coats Reynolds. He and Mildred Massey were married Sept. 3, 1964, in Jonesboro. She died April 21, 1992...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Willis H. Reynolds, 79, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Union County Hospital.

He was born March 2, 1926, in Jonesboro, son of Edward Harrison and Rosa Mae Coats Reynolds. He and Mildred Massey were married Sept. 3, 1964, in Jonesboro. She died April 21, 1992.

Reynolds operated a service station several years in Jonesboro.

He served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include four brothers, Charles Reynolds of Anna, Ill., Paul Reynolds of Cobden, Ill., Bill Reynolds of Elgin, Ill., Eddie Reynolds of Jonesboro; two stepsons, Mitchel and Rick Alsip of Anna; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, an infant brother and a stepson.

Friends may call at Hileman Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bon and Richard Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna.
