Willie Georgia "PeeWee" Stevens, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Jefferson Health Care in Lees Summit, Mo., where she had been a resident since February.
She was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, to Telford "Red" and Millie Mansker. She and James Allen Stevens were married Aug. 1, 1952.
During her life she had lived in Southeast Missouri, Calipatria, Calif., Odessa and Pleasant Hill, Mo. She had worked as a secretary, real estate agent, travel agent and insurance agent. She enjoyed playing bridge, working on genealogy and traveling.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Sue Moore of Pleasant Hill; two granddaughters, Cassandra Rose Moore and Angelique Emma Moore; a sister, Edna Seabaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Dorothy Sheley; and a brother, Alfred Mansker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Langsford Funeral Home in Lees Summit.
Burial will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery near Advance, Mo.
