CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Willie Mae Parker, 71, of Charleston died Sunday, July 29, 2001, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Sept. 26, 1929, at Charleston, daughter of Henry and Lovey Douglass Treadwell. She was married to John Parker, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Eugene Parker and Johnny Parker of Charleston; six daughters, Mildred Jackson of Michigan City, Ind., Thelma King, Mae Willie Butler, Carolyn Faye Jenkins and Juanita Barner, all of Chicago, and Bernita Parker of Charleston; one brother, Henry Treadwell Jr., of Wyatt, Mo.; four sisters, Venice Ivy of Sarasota, Fla., Juanita Jefferson of Charleston, Gerline Greer and Dorothy Coleman of Wyatt; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
Friends may call at the Opportunity Church of God in Christ from 12-1 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Elder Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
