CHARLESTON -- Willie George Hines, 53, of Charleston, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 16, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Charleston. Survivors are his father, Tony Hines, Charleston; sons, Joe W. Hines, Memphis, Tenn., and Jamine Hines, Charleston; daughters, Gloria Hines, Carbondale, Ill., Georgia and Christina Hines, both of Charleston, and Michelle and Tracie Rowe, both of South Bend, Ind.; brothers, Robert Hines, Paducah, Ky., and John, Charles and Clifford Hines, all of Charleston; sisters, Verlyn Sherrell, Sandra Hines and Ethel Johnson, all of Charleston; and several grandchildren.. ...

Friends may call from 6 to 7 tonight at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.

Service will be at the funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Lavern Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
