JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for William Austin Willis of Jonesboro will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home. The Revs. Joe Aldridge and Raymond Oxford will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today...

Willis, 77, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, at his home.

He was born March 7, 1922, at Ullin, son of Raleigh and Pearl Lackey Willis. He and Juanita Dillow were married May 6, 1944, in Dongola.

Willis owned and operated W.A. Willis Trucking, retiring in 1987. He was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Willis of Buncombe; and a grandson.
