WILLIAM W. STANFILL

FAIRDEALING -- Funeral service for William. W. Stanfill of Fairdealing will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Revs. Mack Williams and Melvin Keena will officiate, with burial in Armstead-Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.

Stanfill, 63, died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born Dec. 14, 1930, at Bernie, son of John and Pearl Wadsworth Stanfill. He and Anna Mae Gaines were married Jan. 25, 1951.

Stanfill was a former resident of Bernie and Dexter. He was an independent insurance agent.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roger Stanfill of Malden, Kevin Stanfill of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Melba Driskill of Louisville, Ky.; a brother, Elcie Stanfill of Flint, Mich.; four sisters, Mirtie Tucker of Malden, Cora Johns of St. Charles, Virginia Ellsworth of Naylor, Wilma Kearby of Poplar Bluff, and three grandchildren.
