JACKSON, Mo. -- William A. Teson, 76, of Jackson died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 11, 1924, in Florissant, Mo., son of Walter William and Florence Lajueness Teson.
He and Evelyn Walker were married June 24, 1943.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in London, England. He was retired from Kienstra Ready Mix in O'Fallon, Mo. He hauled concrete for various St. Louis companies for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish in Florissant, Teamster #682 in St. Louis, the Cape Girardeau VFW and Altenthal-Joerns Legion Post #158 in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald Teson of St. Louis and William M.. Teson of Jackson; two daughters, Mary Hume of Jackson, and Billie Jean Dixon of Jonesburg, Mo.; brothers, Charles Teson of Florissant, Richard J. Teson of Jefferson City and Norbert M. Teson of Lake of the Ozarks; a sister, Louise Herbert of St. Peters, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-9 p.m. Monday.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Father Randolph Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
