DELTA -- William "Bill" Robertson, 66, of Delta died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 25, 1931, in Maunie, Ill., son of Martin and Louise Acey Robertson. He and Mary Alleta Livingston were married July 14, 1951, in Sikeston.
Robertson was a truck driver 19 years with Cape Ready Mix in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Eagles Aerie in Cape Girardeau. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dennis Robertson of Chaffee, Ricky Robertson of St. Louis, Randy Robertson of Benton; three daughters, Judith Vavak and Cindy Rhodes of Advance, Peggy Tomkiewicz of Manhattan, Kan.; a sister, Betty Larken of Rockford, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
