EGYPT MILLS, Mo. -- William A. "Red" O'Howell, 73, of Egypt Mills died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 11, 1927, in St. Louis, son of Grover and Martha J. Rains O'Howell. He married Lucille Reed, who died Dec. 27, 1984.
O'Howell was retired from Procter & Gamble. He had also worked at the former Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau, and with Cape Special Road District.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Susan Suhr of Oak Ridge, Mo.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 9-11 a.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Raymond McAfee will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
